API Gateway REST stage is not configured to use X-Ray. X-Ray provides detailed tracing to analyze user requests from the API endpoints through to the underlying AWS services. X-Ray is a useful resource for understanding usage patterns and forensic evaluation in the event of an incident. X-Ray should be enabled for the API Gateway Stage.
