An Amazon Route 53 domain has automatic renewal disabled. Route 53 domains that are not renewed will expire. An expired domain could be taken over by a malicious actor or deleted by the domain registar, resulting in potentially downtime or application failure. Route 53 automatic renewal should be enabled.
